Hello everyone, how are you all doing!
Its been a dandy week in the field. And we have had an issue in our house. This is why my email is called bloody walls.

Really pretty. |
So this week in our house we have not been able to sleep and also there is a lot of blood on the walls. Its because of mosquitoes, every night we have woken up to little buzzing sound next to our ears and we know that they are mosquitoes so we try to put our sheet over our heads but then it just gets louder and louder. And so at 3 or 4 in the morning and there are like 25 mosquitoes in the room with us. So we get out of bed and kill all the mosquitoes and now after a week of this our white walls are covered in blood. Its awesome.

Also wore a sweater in 95 degree weather one day. It was pretty great. |

My watch and the sweat line that is permanently there. |

Picture of my comp and his guitar because why not. |
Also some other facts and fun stuff that has happened this week. We had a quick change in our house this week with elders. Well with one, but now I am living with my comp that's from Peru, two other missionaries, one of them is from Paraguay, and the other Bolivia. So the house is pretty diversified. (Is that a word?) Its pretty neat. And I haven't spoken English in a week straight. My English is rocking in this moment.
Other really cool thing I want to talk about is motorcycles and bicycles. When kids are really young here they learn to do wheelies on their bikes. And they are always doing it. When they get a little bit older they start to go flying down the really steep hills doing wheelies and it's crazy! And then when they get old enough to buy a motorcycle they do wheelies on whatever street they are on. And it seems a lot of times that they are going to crash and they are going to die. But they never crash and they are so smooth about it. Crazy.

Random picture I took... not sure why. |

Just a couple of other animals at the park. |
Okay, some good stuff now about some cool people of Medellin. First off, our investigators are doing well. We had the interview of Nicholas (the 8 year old) to be baptized the next week. He is really flaky in this moment because his grandma is catholic and convincing him to join the catholic church, but he really wants to be baptized in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. But I gave him a ctr ring and told him to always choose the right and he was pretty excited about that. So that's Nicholas. Also we are progressing with other investigators a lot, but every single one that is progressing has the exact same hecking problem. They aren't married. Its so frustrating. But we now have 3 couples that want to be baptized but they aren't married. Awesome. We also encountered a really big family of 8 one night and we taught them a quick message and they are super cool. They said they cant wait for us to come back to teach them otra vez.

Working on that lean. ;) |
We also had a special conference the Sunday from Utah, it was a conference for Colombia and Ecuador. It was pretty cool, we got to hear about 5 general authorities talk. But that was our Sunday and it was pretty good. Also we had our big meeting with our mission President and he talked a lot about the atonement and repentance. It was a really good capacitation and we learned a lot. We were told that we need to invite to baptism the first lesson to count the investigators as new investigators. So that was pretty cool. And that we should focus on the Atonement and repentance when we are teaching.

Started the Book of Mormon over again and I am reading very in detail. |
Okay, last thing. The Sunday we had 2 lunches and the first one was really good. We had really good fish way high up in the mountain and super good. After an investigator family invited us to almorzar with them and we were like oh no, we just ate lunch. But they insisted so we finally said okay. They said, its something really special and your going to love it. HECKING MONDONGO. AGAIN. I ALMOST DIED. Rough, but I honestly couldn't eat all of it, there was so much and I felt so bad when I couldn't eat all of it. But I literally almost died. Hahahaha. There were tears running down my face when I was eating haha.
