Hey Family and Friends.
How are you all doing!
It's been a dandy week in the mish. Another one gone by, and also a pretty normal week. Not anything too fun has happened this week. No one tried to bless me or slap me or anything fun like that. We did receive a really awesome reference from the Bishop. So I will talk about that a little bit later in my email.
First off some more interesting things about Medellin and my experiences here. In this new area in the mountains, it's a huge area. And to reach a lot of the area you need to take public transport, buses or taxis. But taxis cost too much so pretty much just buses. Anyways, for this area there are 8 different buses that go to different parts way high up and some not so high up. But I need to memorize these buses and where they go so that if my comp leaves, I would know how to get places. Also the addresses here in the mountains aren't really a thing. Everyone has an address, but normally it makes no sense so we have to memorize pretty much where all the houses are of investigators. Its awesome! We also got a lot of rain here this week and the week before. It's been raining so hard and when it rains in the mountain in our area, its like the streets turn into rivers and all the water just goes flying down the mountain and streets so fast. Its pretty entertaining to watch.

Also, another quick thing that happened this week is that I got another great food, it wasn't the cow stomach this time. But to help me explain this food, first I want you all to picture chicken. A nice yummy, well seasoned chicken that just is really, really good. Well for one of our lunches we got the exact opposite of that, we got soup of chicken intestines, chicken heart, other chicken organs, and chicken feet. WAHOO, such a good lunch. It was honestly a struggle for me to get that one down. When I got to the heart, I looked at it, looked up and asked my companion “This is what I think it is, isn't it?” And it was, it was not very good tasting whatsoever. Well, those are my quick things to tell you about this week besides the mission stuff.
Mission stuff, this week we put some new baptismal dates and also extended some. We have 4 right now and we are going to put 3 the next week. So that's pretty cool. And the referral that we received from the Bishop is awesome. There names are Hamilton and Nancy, they are two people that are living together and not married. Again. But they both have a really strong desire to go to church and to learn more about the Church. We had only one lesson with them this week, but we went with the intention to teach the restoration. We got there and they started asking questions about all sorts of things and about the church. Really easy questions to answer, but just so many! So before we started our lesson, I looked over to my comp and mouthed, Sabbath day_ And he said yes, we both felt that they needed to know about the Sabbath day. So we started our lesson and they still just had tons and tons of questions. We had a really good lesson and they understood everything. By the end, we asked if they had anymore questions about anything, and they didn't have one question. They both said that they were good and Nancy told us she wants to be Baptized. Hamilton is not sure yet because he knows that he has to get married to be baptized and he doesn't want to get married. But it was such an awesome lesson and very much guided by the spirit.
