Week Three. Or First Goodbyes.
Hello!
This week was awesome and also really hard. We had so many lessons about Spanish and there were so many things we had to get done. I am the new district leader in my ward so that is fun. Also I forgot to include this in my last email. The Latinos all say that Braedon is Jesus. They saw the picture of us at the temple all dressed in white and they say he is Jesus. So that's something.
Also we had a really good week with our investigators and we confirmed baptismal dates with both of them that was awesome. Also one of our lessons about commandments turned into a laughing stock. I was trying to say that we had lots of rules in the missionary life and it is hard to follow all the rules. I thought the word for rules was regalos.... regalos is gifts and reglos is rules. Oh gosh when I said that we had lots of gifts as missionaries I could not stop laughing and we all just were crying.
I love everyone at this CCM. They are awesome. Also we said goodbye to everyone. Our district of four is the only thing left. Saying goodbye to the other gringos was horrible and I am gonna miss them so much. Saying goodbye to the Latinos and our roommates was horrible and I am going to miss them. There were lots of tears shed in this week. But they are going to make great missionaries.
Also we went up to the Mount Monserrate. I probably didn't spell that right but oh well. It was awesome and we got to really experience Colombia life. The new gringos are pretty cool. Still no one else going to Medellin but that's fine. I have also been told multiple times that Medellin is a 6 month mission because of women. So thats' fun. haha but really it has been a great week and I love everyone.
